Becky Muth is a coffee addict who lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia with her husband and their adult sons. Born under the sign of a coffee bean, when she isn't writing or spending time with her family Becky enjoys knitting, reading, and binge watching TV with her dogs.
Becky is the author of the Haunted Women Series, a collection of ghost stories set in Appalachian America. Her works-in-progress include any number of short stories and the Treasure Pines Cozy Mystery series.
In June 2018, Sweet Promise Press selected Becky to write a book for their Gold Coast Retrievers series.
Becky's publishing credits include both online and print publications.
In 2015 she co-founded The Mountain Scribes, an invitation-only writing group serving West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.
The following year she founded a teen writing group as well.
She is also the recipient of the 2017 Leon B. Burstein/MWA-NY Scholarship for Mystery Writing from the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of America, which allowed her to attend Bouchercon 2017, the world's largest mystery convention.
Becky's love of all creatures great and small shows through her writing. Her umpteen pets, which include both dogs and reptiles, often inspire the animals that appear in her books.
