Works in Progress

A writer rarely limits themselves to a single work. They always have other ideas brewing. Here is a list of my current works in progress.

Family Is a Pain in the Ass – Ian works as a copy shop manager, but when an elderly woman comes in seeking help it turns his whole day around. (mystery, 3000’ish words)

Untitled Short Story – Daphne needs to buy her brother a birthday gift. A shopping trip with her friend Tara leads to a pop up mall offering unique items – but everything comes with a price. (sci-fi / fantasy, in progress)

Treasure Pines Cozy Mystery Series – A local postman’s death rocks the sleepy North Carolina coastal town of Treasure Pines. Clues locked in the research section of the library will reveal the murderer. It’s up to volunteer librarian Maggie Sawyer to solve the case before she becomes the next victim.

If you’re a writer, what are your current projects? And if you’re a reader, what’s on your watchlist?

Thanks for stopping in!

  1. Hi Becky. All three pieces that you are working on are very interesting. I can’t wait to see them in print. I like your haunted series as I tend to look for more supernatural or fantasy in stories that I read. Keep up the great work.
